This document sets forth the Privacy Policy (“Policy”) for the Alchemy Solutions Pty Ltd (“Alchemy”) (“the Company”) website located at www.alchemysolutions.com.au (“Website”). Alchemy is committed to providing the best possible service and is bound by relevant Australian regulations and laws. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any reference to Alchemy does not include reference to any of its affiliates. This Policy outlines Alchemy’s approach to management of information and data which the Company may:
A) Collect via the Website; and
B) Share and use to conduct its business
Most content on the Website can be viewed, accessed or otherwise consumed without having to provide personally identifiable information (“PII”); however for certain customer service features and access to selected content (“Gated Experiences”) PII may be required. Such PII may include, but is not limited to, first name, last name, email address, job title, employer, country of residence and phone number. In the event a netizen provides the Company with PII (“Providing Party”) they consent to the Company sharing and using their PII in accordance with this Policy. Where a netizen visits the Website (“Website Visitor”) Alchemy may collect information and data which is not PII including, but not limited to, browser type, internet protocol address location, pages viewed, session time or duration, and referring website address (“Non PII”). The Website Visitor consents to the Company sharing and using Non PII in accordance with this Policy. Each Providing Party and Website Visitor consents to the Company collecting, sharing and using PII and Non PII (“Collected Information”) in accordance with this Policy.
Alchemy may partner with other organisations (“Content Partners”) to produce, publish, provide and offer Gated Experiences. In the event a Gated Experience is affiliated with a Content Partner the Content Partner’s name, logo or some other identifying information will be referenced in advertising of the Gated Experience. In the event Alchemy is required to share Collected Information (“Shared Information”) with a Content Partner or other third party (“Receiving Party”) the Company takes reasonable actions to ensure the Receiving Party adheres to relevant and reasonable confidentiality, security and privacy obligations to protect Shared Information. Alchemy cannot guarantee the confidentiality, security or privacy of Shared Information on behalf of any Receiving Party.
Collected Information is used by Alchemy to provide services, information, communication and content (“Services”) which are requested and or may be relevant by inference.
In accordance with Alchemy’s internal AI Policy (available upon request), Alchemy may use AI to provide Services including to operate the Website. Alchemy is committed to ensuring that PII used in AI systems is handled securely and ethically. Alchemy’s use of AI is compliant with applicable Australian and international data security and privacy regulations and standards. Alchemy will adhere to data minimisation principles, ensuring that only the necessary amount of data is used for AI processes. PII will be anonymised wherever possible. In the event of any incident related to AI usage, including data breach or unintended consequences of AI decisioning, the Company will follow established procedures for incident management.
The Providing Party acknowledges that, at any time, they can exercise their right to:
Opt-out or unsubscribe from Services.
Request a copy of their PII the Company may have (“Subject Request”). The Subject Request must be made by email to connect@alchemysolutions.com.au . The Company will respond within 30 days of receiving the request.
Request to be forgotten. Any such request must be emailed to connect@alchemysolutions.com.au .The Company will respond after receiving the request.
Request their PII is not used by Alchemy within AI systems (“AI Opt Out Request”). Any such AI Opt Out Request must be made by email connect@alchemysolutions.com.au . The Company will respond within 30 days of receiving the request.
Request Alchemy provide a clear and understandable explanation of how their PII is used in AI systems. The request must be made by email to connect@alchemysolutions.com.au .The Company will respond within 30 days of receiving the request.
Alchemy may be required to retain certain Collected Information for certain periods of time to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and laws.
If required by law the Company can arrange to dispose of or destroy its record of Collected Information; however Alchemy’s ability to do this may be limited by the requests it can make of service providers, software application services and other third parties it may engage for the provision of services such as website content management.
In the event of a breach the Company could, to the extent it is reasonably able to do so, identify affected Collected Information.
